No wardrobe is complete without a hand woven belt, and this artisanally crafted strap is definitely one to fill that space although its deep, rich Forest Green tone certainly makes it an original and refreshing change from traditional brown and black! This belt is woven by hand from the tip end in a supple yet hard wearing vegetable tanned leather and has had the outside edges cut straight so that the belt slides smoothly through belt loops. When choosing the buckle for this style we were drawn toward the elongated lines of our equestrian inspired stirrup prong buckle. The shape is original without being flashy, has a nice weight to it and I really like the way the buckle hugs the edges of the belt for a sleek look. The antique brass finish gives the belt a warm look, it's a natural partner to the deep green tones of the belt. Ultimately, this is a belt that will be a faithful yet distinctive companion and complement to all sorts of casual outfits for many years, great in winter on heavier trousers, skirts and knitwear and then really coming to the fore in the summer paired with lighter weight outfits and shorts.
